A Milanese journalist and writer, Fossati is a prominent figure in the Italian cultural landscape. After years in Paris as a freelancer for the Italian press and a long career at Vanity Fair, in 2017 she was appointed Editor-in-Chief of La Cucina Italiana, a historic magazine and symbol of national gastronomic culture.
Since December 2020, he has also been in charge of Condé Nast Traveller, the publishing house's flagship travel magazine, furthering his love for travel and the world of hotels.
Fossati has an innovative approach to journalism, placing culture at the centre of her narratives and intertwining it with contemporary issues and artistic collaborations. Under her leadership, La Cucina Italiana has launched high-impact initiatives, such as the bid for Italian cuisine to be recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, for which Fossati served as President of the Steering Committee. This project brought significant visibility and immense prestige to the entire Italian system. She is also a judge/talent on the TV show Celebrity Chef alongside Alessandro Borghese on TV8 and curator of Forbes Italia's The 25 Most Powerful Chefs ranking.
