Fernando G. Alberti heads the prestigious Porter Institute in Boston (USA), an institution created to give continuity to the studies and contribution of Prof. Michael E. Porter, the father of competitive strategy. Prof. Alberti, former Institutes Council Leader for fifteen years within Prof. Porter's Faculty at Harvard Business School, is now Full Professor of Business Strategy in Italy, at LIUC, after having taught in many universities in Italy and abroad. Formerly Industrial Strategist at the World Bank in Washington D.C. (USA) and at the UNIDO of the United Nations in Vienna (Austria), he has thirty years of advisory and consultancy experience in strategy for companies, institutions, supply chains and territories. Today, he is Principal Associate for Europe at Porter Development Initiative, a strategy consultancy founded by Prof. Porter himself. In 2019, his book Entrepreneurship by Design was first in business best sellers on Amazon and was inducted by Prof. Porter into the Harvard Business School Hall of Fame.
