
Regional Vice President Development, Luxury – France, Southern Europe & North Africa – Accor
Paul Rosenberg is an established hotel development executive with over 15 years of international experience leading the expansion of luxury hotel brands across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Currently, as Regional Vice President of Development for Accor's Luxury portfolio, Paul spearheads strategic growth initiatives for iconic brands including Sofitel, Emblems Collection, MGallery Collection, Fairmont, Raffles, and Orient Express. He manages a dedicated team of development professionals and sits on Accor’s European Luxury Development Steering Committee, shaping the company’s vision and competitive positioning in a dynamic marketplace.
Before joining Accor, Paul held senior management positions at Marriott International for over a decade, culminating in the role of Vice President, International Hotel Development, EMEA. His experience spans lead generation to complex contract negotiations, project management to strategic brand development, including support for the integration of Starwood brands and the introduction of new concepts across the continent.
Early in his career, Paul played a crucial role in Hilton Worldwide's expansion into the Middle East and helped establish HVS's research office in Dubai, providing market intelligence and feasibility studies for the region.
Fluent in three languages, Paul combines deep market knowledge with strong financial acumen, feasibility analysis and cross-cultural leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management from the École hôtelière de Lausanne. Based in Zurich, Paul is recognised for his collaborative leadership style and his commitment to shaping the future of luxury hospitality.
