Dan Wakeling oversees the growth of Hilton's luxury segment in Europe and Africa. With more than 21 years of experience in international hotel development and investment-related roles, Dan has led Hilton's luxury and residential segment development strategy since 2016. Under his leadership, Hilton's portfolio has expanded across the region, with over 50 luxury properties currently operating or under development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

During his tenure at Hilton, Dan oversaw the market entry of LXR Hotels & Resorts, with openings in the UK, Turkey and most recently in the Seychelles with Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts. With upcoming openings, including the Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch in London and the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, Dan is responsible for working with investors to introduce Hilton's luxury brands in both resorts and major international cities, strengthening the brand portfolio across Europe and Africa.
