Andre is a keynote speaker and strategic consultant who collaborates with senior business leaders on the topics of Reverse Leadership, cultural transformation, internationally award-winning Customer Experience, and transformative learning.

He is the founder of Start Reverse, a boutique consultancy firm with projects active both regionally and globally. The “Reverse” philosophy has influenced numerous leading brands and the (working) lives of hundreds of thousands of executives and professionals in the hospitality sector and beyond.

Andre is the heart and mind behind this disruptive approach, capable of increasing relevance, engagement, and loyalty. He is also the author of the books “START REVERSE” (The Novel and The Journey).

Andre graduated from Hotelschool The Hague (BSc 1980) and Florida International University (MSc Hospitality Management 1985).. Before founding his own company, he worked for Crowne Plaza, Marriott and Hilton International in various leadership positions (including 4 opening teams)..

You are also part of the Advisory Board of Hotelschool The Hague. They also provide consulting services for the Leadership Team of the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at FIU.. Furthermore, Andre is an active jury member and coach, contributing to the Global Sustainable Hospitality Challenge..
