Sara Digiesi has been Managing Director of BWH Hotels Italy & South-East Europe since 2022.
An expert in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues, she holds international positions within leading pre-competitive organisations in the hospitality industry. She is a member of the GBTA Sustainability Leadership Council and the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance. In these global forums, she represents the entire BWH Hotels Group as the only Italian representative.
During his career at BWH Hotels, he held various leadership roles in strategic areas such as marketing, sales, digital distribution, strategy and innovation.
Before joining BWH, he worked as Country Marketing Manager for Italy and Malta at the IHG Hotel Group.
She graduated in Tourism Economics and Management and completed two specialisation courses at Bocconi University: Sustainability and Green Economics, and Tourism Economics.
Sara was included in the '100 Women in Leadership' ranking by Forbes Italy and among the '50 Most Influential Women' according to Fortune Italy.
