Giorgio Caire di Lauzet, a reference figure in the panorama of tourism sustainability in Italy and internationally, is the coordinator of UNI/CT 040 GL22 'Tourism' of the Italian Standardisation Body UNI and represents Italy within the ISO WG 228 working group that defines standards for sustainable tourism at international level.
He is also at the helm of one of the leading Certification Bodies accredited by Accredia ISO 17065, Dream&Charme, present in 19 countries and specialised in ESG Certification for the hotel sector, of which he is the leader in Italy.
For over twenty years active in the high-end hotel sector, contract professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan at the EMLUX Master, external speaker at the MIMEC Master at the Bocconi University of Milan on new models of tourism marketing, author of over 300 publications and 13 books including Top Notch - Born Extraordinary, distributed by Hoepli, Project Leader for the design and realisation of the UNI PdR 131 reference book on accessible tourism.
GSTC, DCA ESG and ISO 19011 certified Lead Auditor, certified Hotel Senior General Manager by Intertek according to the CWA 17327 standard, he has carried out more than 3,000 audits and inspections in 5-star hotels and resorts in 25 countries. He collaborates with hospitality real estate funds by performing due diligences to assess the sustainability of hospitality properties being acquired or sold.
