From 2017 to 2021, she led Monteverdi’s Special Events and Guest Services department, curating unique experiences that blended art, culture, and tailored hospitality—such as artist-in-residence programs, an annual concert series, and other cultural initiatives. Previously, she held the position of Director of Housekeeping for over six years, helping to define the property’s service standards and collaborating with interior designers to ensure stylistic harmony throughout the hotel.

Previously, she served for over six years as Director of Housekeeping, helping to set the quality standards of the hotel and collaborating with interior designers to ensure consistency and style in every detail.

Anja began her career in Tuscany, gaining experience in hospitality at renowned properties such as La Foce Villa Rentals and Adler Thermae Spa Resort, building a well-rounded perspective on luxury travel and wellness.

Her holistic approach and deep knowledge of both Monteverdi and the Sarteano region make her a key figure in the continued evolution of one of Italy’s most exclusive destinations.

She also earned a certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, further enriching her expertise with an international outlook and advanced managerial skills.
