Managing director - Rosewood Rome
A seasoned hotelier with over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Patrizia Hofer brings to her role as Managing Director at Rosewood Rome a deep operational mastery, an intuitive sense of service and a heartfelt appreciation for local culture. Since joining Rosewood in 2024, she has led the property's transformation towards its grand opening, a project that reimagines a historic landmark and celebrates the art of Roman living.
Over the course of her dynamic career, Patrizia has managed some of the world's most iconic hotels, from the St. Regis Venice to Al Messila, to Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Doha, to the Ritz-Carlton Doha. Her leadership has been defined by an unwavering commitment to excellence and authenticity, qualities that have earned her properties numerous accolades, including EMEA Hotel of the Year 2022 and inclusion in Travel + Leisure's lists of the best hotels in Europe and the world.
Prior to Rosewood, Patrizia oversaw the complete transformation of the St. Regis Venice, successfully repositioning it as one of Europe's most admired luxury addresses. Previous assignments in Italy, Spain, Hong Kong and the Middle East - with renowned brands such as Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Bulgari Hotel Milano, Luxury Collection and St. Regis - have shaped her distinctive leadership style: people-centred, inspiring and grounded in empathy.
At Rosewood Rome, Patrizia leads with the conviction that a hotel can become a living expression of its city. Her vision is to revitalise the Via Veneto area by transforming it into a vibrant meeting place, a trusted guide for discovering a less superficial Rome, a connection point for the local community and an experience for the culturally curious. Under his direction, Rosewood Rome is destined to become a new cultural beacon for the city, an address where every detail celebrates the art of Roman living.
