Ori Kafri is an avant-garde hotelier, the creative and innovative founder of JK Place.
He was born in Florence to two Israeli entrepreneurs who came to Florence from Tel Aviv in 1976. After much travelling and pursuing studies in economics and tourism, in 2003 Ori Kafri opened JK Place Firenze aged just 24. It was followed by JK Place Roma and JK Place Capri, nominated by Tatler in 2008 the world’s best hotels. JK Place hotels are luxury boutique hotels, housed in renovated historical buildings furnished by Florentine architect Michele Bönan, inspired by a distinctly human approach to service, discretion and the utmost personalisation.
