Tommaso Corsini's professional journey has its roots in Villa Corsini in Mezzomonte, a historic family estate transformed into a model of long-term economic sustainability thanks to the events sector. From this experience of territorial enhancement was born Corsini.Events, an event planning & production company that operates on a national scale collaborating with leading global planners for the realisation of private celebrations and tailor-made corporate events. Through its holding company, it has contributed to the development of activities that have embraced every aspect of the industry: from food & beverage to design, production and performing arts.
Alongside his entrepreneurial activity, he has held important institutional and public service roles, promoting economic development at the Florence Metropolitan City, the Chamber of Commerce and the Florence DMO. This knowledge of the territory and the market led him to found, in 2018, WIM (Where Ideas Meet), a project that aims to give a shared identity and a common language to a fragmented market.
WIM was born with the mission of putting people at the centre, firmly believing that real networking is not about collecting contacts, but building trust over time through the quality of human relationships. The WIM network rests on innovative pillars: WIM Insights, the permanent observatory that transforms perceptions and experiences into readable and usable data to give professional dignity to the supply chain; WIMEvent and WIMTour, the carousel of in-person events to connect industry professionals; and WIMforPro, the digital platform that guarantees continuity and scalability to the business model equipped with WIMMY, an AI agent designed to make professionals more supported, informed and oriented in their strategic decisions.
Tommaso Corsini's goal is ambitious: to create, in Italy, a replicable model of development of the private event industry, making “Made in Italy” a system not only of aesthetic excellence, but structured, measurable and future-oriented. His vision points to a cultural revolution where the authority of the private events industry is finally recognised for its real economic, cultural and social impact.
