He has taught at the Universities of Brescia, Venice and Florence. Visiting professor at the University of Kyoto (Japan) (1995), the Chulalongkorn University of Bangkok (Thailand) (1999), the ESADE of Barcelona (Spain) (1998) and the University of Federio Santa Maria of Santiago (Chile ) (2001-2002). Director of research units of MIUR and CNR projects, of research for the EU and member of the WTO Educational Council. Head of the tourism section of CERTeT.
