Livia Peraldo Matton, director of Elle Decor Italia since 2001, has made her passion for design and the applied arts her life's work.

After graduating in Architecture from Milan Polytechnic, she decided to devote herself to journalism and became Art Director of Casaviva, before joining Elle Decor in 1990. With the EDIDA-Elle Decor International Design Awards project, she involves 25 international editions of the same magazine, calling on them annually to express a point of view on the excellence of the sector: professionals (designers and young talents) and objects, divided into categories, in a global and shared vision. The EDIDA awards are considered 'design Oscars' at an international level and aim to follow the evolution of new generations of designers. Elle Decor Italia has been a forerunner in the world of interior design magazines. Since 1990, a time when design and interiors were still an elite phenomenon, it has chosen to tell the story to a wide audience with an innovative and engaging language, helping to make it a popular phenomenon and communicate a very contemporary idea of luxury, attentive also to the values of ethics and sustainability. The magazine presents all the latest news and trends in design, architecture, furnishing, applied arts and shows the public the most beautiful houses in the world told in its unmistakable evocative and emotional style.
