Bio

Hubert de Malherbe was born in Paris in 1964 and grew up in Versailles, in an environment that stimulated his curiosity and creativity. After graduating in engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in 1988, he quickly turned his attention to design, driven by an aesthetic sensitivity and an early passion for objects and spaces.

He is a French designer considered a pioneer in the design of retail spaces based on the analysis of shopping behaviour. Regularly described as the designer of all shops, he has enjoyed international fame since the 2000s, particularly through the combination of his creative audacity and the commercial performance of his creations. He is the founder of the eponymous creative agency with offices in Paris, Shanghai and New York.

Hubert de Malherbe works mainly in the luxury sector. He has been designing for Dior perfumes since 2000. He participated in the renovation of La Samaritaine and designs large shopping centres all over the world. He has realised more than 1,000 boutique projects all over the world and also devotes himself to his passion for aviation and cars through his favourite clients, such as Porsche and the aircraft manufacturer TBM.
