Throughout his career at Belmond, Alfonso has consolidated his managerial vocation, developing deep operational expertise and innovative leadership in the pursuit of perfection rooted in his knowledge of every aspect of the hotel business, from hospitality to finance and developments on future projects.

Since he started working at the Caruso in Ravello, as front of house manager in 2014, he has been an example of passion and dedication, managing to build a dynamic working environment based on mutual respect, team value and the development of a successful team.

Open-minded and people-oriented, creative, with a straightforward proactive approach, Alfonso's imperative is to elevate the guest experience, to make it unique and unforgettable, always looking for new opportunities to do better and innovate.

After graduating in Economics and Tourism Management and continuing his education with an International Master Programme in Tourism Management 6th edition, he started his career in hospitality at a very young age and worked at, among others, the Four Seasons in Florence and The Dorchester Hotel in London.

Curious and convinced that one should never stop and stop learning, over the years Alfonso has completed his education by obtaining a diploma in The Coaching Process for Engaging and Developing Others to train new resources, a Master's Degree, Using Ratio Analysis to Evaluate Financial Performance and one in Restaurant Revenue Management, both with Cornell University. In addition, there is a course in Finance at the Bocconi University in Milan.
