Alessandro Misani is Director of Operation Milan for Meliá Hotels International.

He holds a master's degree in Tourism Management from SDA Bocconi in Milan.

He began his professional career in the hotel industry in 1990, in the Jolly chain, where he held various strategic roles, until becoming Head of Sales for the Jolly Hotel Touring and the Jolly President in 1997.

In 1998 he moved to the Atahotel Group, first as Assistant Manager of the Quark Convention Centre, then the following year as Deputy Manager and in 2001 as Director. On the basis of his excellent results, he also took over the management of the Ata Hotel Quark 2 in 2004.

He took over as Director of the Meliá Milan from November 2006. From 2011 he managed the ME Madrid, in 2013 he launched the ME Ibiza, to return to Milan as General Manager of The Yard Milano Hotel and, from March 2015, as General Manager of the ME Milan Il Duca.
