Chief Executive Officer - EHL Group

Born and raised in Switzerland and living for more than 20 years in Italy, Markus Venzin combines the structural and process skills needed to manage complex business development programmes with the creativity and flexibility required to create new ideas.
After graduating in Economics from the University of Konstanz, Germany, he completed a master's degree in Strategic Management and Organisational Behaviour, followed by a doctorate in Strategy and Organisation at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Before taking over as CEO of EHL, Markus Venzin was Professor of Global Strategy at Bocconi University's Department of Management and Technology and its Dean of Innovation. He is a founding partner of Corporate Hangar, a corporate venture builder that supports large companies by creating the infrastructure for serial innovation. He has worked as a strategist in various sectors, including manufacturing, financial services and fashion. He also founded his own consulting company and has served on the boards of directors and advisory boards of several multinational companies.
Markus Venzin honed his international academic profile and managerial leadership skills as founder and long-time director of the Master of Science in International Management at Bocconi University, as director of the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and later as director of the 'Claudio Dematté' Research Division at SDA Bocconi.
